By the grace of God, Joey Haynes grew up in Munford, AL loving Dale Murphy and dreaming about playing for the Braves. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Education from Jacksonville State University in 1997. The call from the Braves never came but an assignment from the Lord did, and Joey began his work in ministry in 1995. He has served in various capacities at three churches in two states. He met a girl named Kristen at a graduation party in 2000. Four years later, he was blessed to say "I do" to her. Joey and Kristen have two children: Sadie and Sam. The Haynes family lives in Rome, GA, and are blessed to be a part of the Oak Hill Church of Christ. Joey enjoys hanging out with his family, watching and attending sporting activities and meeting famous people.
